Fela Kuti was the greatest African musician of all time, whose influence has spread not just throughout African Music, but has also influenced many of the greatest Western musicians, from the Beatles and Stevie Wonder to James Brown. This is the second in the series of Anthologies commemorating Fela’s musical legacy.

CD1 concentrates on his most profilic period 1975 – 1976. CD2 is also with Africa 70 but goes up to 1980 where he then changed the band to Africa 80.

The 3rd Disc is an extraordinary concert recorded in Berlin in 1978, at the height of Fela’s powers. This has never been released before and is exclusive to this set
