Hugues Aufray Biography

Hugues Aufray's recording career for Barclay Records spans fifty years, signing in 1959. Aufray met Bob Dylan in the early sixties and the two became friends. Dylan visited Aufray in Paris, and in 1965 Aufray released an album 'Aufray Chante Dylan' which propelled him to stardom in France . His stellar international career included performing for Martin Luther King with Harry Belafonte in the sixties.
