This concert, recorded at one of their sell out concerts at the
Royal Albert Hall epitomises Ladysmith Black Mambazo,
uplifting, soulful and inspirational.As such it is a "Best Of"
Ladysmith featuring Sisesiqhingini (Stupid Stupid Stupid),
Inkanyezi Nezazi (The Star and the Wiseman) which is most
famous in Britain as the music for Heinz commercials, Rain
Rain Beautiful Rain, Vulani Amasango and Abezizwe. As the
concert unfolds the songs get tougher and the dancing gets
harder. The finale is Homeless, a tribute to Paul Simon who
introduced them to the international arena.
Joseph’s interview is interspersed with pictures of South Africa
and a rare dressing room performance of Diamonds on the
Soles of her Shoes. The concert ends with the video Ain't no
Sunshine - the single collaboration between Ladysmith Black Mambazo
and Des’ree
